Job Description:
SUMMARY OF JOB DUTIES:
Duties include direct contact with policyholders, agents and customers by telephone, email, fax and written correspondence.
Responsibilities include gathering and reporting of information, problem solving, reviewing and evaluating various agency related reports, and providing quality customer service in a timely manner.
In addition the Agency Commission Specialist must meet monthly deadlines for accounting and commission processing.
DESCRIPTION OF DUTIES:
Perform various duties with a high degree of accuracy.
Duties include but are not limited to accounting transactions, commission review and agent balance analysis.
Ability to exercise high level judgmental decisions in an independent manner.
Ability to effectively communicate verbally and in writing in response to inquiries involving agent earnings, agent debit balance and ledger statement data.
Must possess a complete understanding of agency accounting, various agency functions and how they interrelate within the department and the company.
Ability to meet department deadlines and efficiently handle distribution to appropriate parties.
Complete understanding of the various agency contracts, commissions and various country specific currency.
Required SkillsMinimum typing requirement of 40 wpmAbility to operate standard office equipment as well as various software packagesAbility to understand and apply a variety of oral and written instructions, demonstrates initiativeProficient communication skills including proper grammar, word usage, and punctuation in writing and verballyPosting Date:

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
