Position Description:
Owens-Illinois, Inc., (O-I) is the world's leading designer and manufacturer of pure, sustainable, healthy glass containers for many of the world's most well-known food and beverage brands. We are looking for a motivated, talented individual interested in a manufacturing leadership role with significant growth opportunity to join our organization as a Carton Assembler II at our Waco, TX facility.
Responsibilities:
Manually loads cartons, partitions, carriers on to magazines of carton erectors, carrier erectors, partition inserters
Inspects and observes cartons, carriers, partitions, for defects, checks, fiber tears, records information on carton quality check sheets.
Monitors adhesive application and keeps glue pots filled.
Keeps work area clean and orderly.
Visually inspects ware and operates palletizer
Maintain flow of ware lines which includes monitoring quality of bottles and visual inspection.
Position Requirements:
QUALIFICATIONS :
At least 18 years of age.
High School Graduate or GED.
Demonstrated successful work experience.
Good communication skills. Must be able to understand instructions, and communicate quality and safety issues.
Must be able to read, write, and communicate using English language.
Good teamwork skills to work with shift crew.
Must be able to work a rotating schedule, with weekend and holiday requirements.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
