Responsibilities:
Provide the day-to-day support of the office's Human Resources functions Attends and participates in employee disciplinary meetings, terminations, and investigations Maintains compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and recommended best practices; reviews policies and practices to maintain compliance Oversees the office's onboarding process and conducts new hire orientation Advises supervisors regarding appropriate resolution of employee relations issues such as disciplinary actions, terminations, promotions, performance reviews Support the HR department in implementing programs to help improve the employee experience Build credible and trusting relationships with all levels of employees to help facilitate effective employee communications and relations Required Skills/Abilities:
Excellent verbal and written communication skills Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Ability to prioritize tasks and to delegate them when appropriate Ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality Thorough knowledge of employment-related laws and regulations Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software Proficiency with or the ability to quickly learn the organizations HRIS and talent management systems Education and
Experience:
Bachelors degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field required At least one year of human resource management experience preferred.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
