Central Office Vacancy Announcement NATURE OF THE WORK Office Environment WC 8810 BRIEF DESCRIPTION The purpose of this position is to provide clerical support for the various Brazos River Authority (BRA) accounting functions.
This is accomplished by processing accounts receivable payments for customer accounts; overseeing travel requests and reconciliations in accordance with the Travel & Business Meetings Procedures; managing the department's utility tracking system; preparing the annual utility consumption report; coordinating the filing of the annual federal census; processing employee expense reimbursements; providing backup support for the accounts payable department; supporting the accounting department by performing general accounting functions; assisting the Controller and co-workers with projects or tasks to ensure goals and deadlines are met; and any other duties as assigned.
JOB REQUIREMENTS A minimum of two years' experience or an equivalent combination of education.
High School Diploma - Awarded for the completion of High School.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
