2K a year 2 days ago 2 days ago 2 days ago What We Are Looking For The administrative assistant will be responsible for the day to day maintenance of the office, supplies, equipment, record keeping, calendar maintenance, data entry, and communication.
The administrative associate does this for two offices - the Honors Program office and the University Scholars office.
Often will be the initial contact for visitors, students, families, and faculty and staff and fields questions on a range of topics.
In addition to these, also plans events, serves as a reference for policy and procedure clarification, manages student workers, collaborates with people in the office and across campus, and assists with the budget as needed.
An Associate's degree, less than one year of relevant work experience, and a Christian faith are required.
An Associate's degree is preferred.
Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis.
What You Will Do Maintain records for our colloquium classes which involves sign ups, attendance, and grades from around 50 instructors and 120
students every semester.
Set up classes every semester for both HP and UNSC.
Assist with record keeping for advising by processing program withdrawals, preparing and processing degree petitions, and managing the honors contract process.
Plan events for both the Honors Program and University Scholars Program.
Responsible for managing and planning the yearly Honors Program and University Scholars Banquet for 150
people and has successfully done so twice.
Assist in planning the thesis writing retreat for our students and assists in planning New Student Experience events several times each semester.
First point of contact for most people when contacting the office.
Collaborates with faculty and staff in the Honors College and departments across campus to accomplish tasks or problem solve.
Maintain the office by ordering supplies and putting in work orders as needed.
Also manage several projects related to ordering merchandise such as t-shirts, stickers, and umbrellas.
Manage travel budget and assist faculty and staff as needed with expense reports and travel authorizations.
Be the point of contact for any HP or UNSC faculty or staff with questions.
The administrative assistant will double check and ask for clarification on the monthly budget updates from our Business Officers.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
