We are a steel panel manufacturing company located in Waco, Texas.
Position Overview:
The Accounting Assistant position is responsible for assisting with the daily accounting functions of the company.
This position will assist in accounting for credit card entries, account payable and recievable, as well as banking transactions and weekly paperwork filing.
The ideal candidate will have a working knowledge of bookkeeping practices and be able to work independently or in a team environment.
Responsibilities:
Weekly Payroll- Mondays Banking Deposits Process credit card payment transactions Occasional Billing Assist with month-end closing tasks and process AP requests for mailing orders, or assist with year-end closing tasks and process AP requests for ordering orders via phone or email Support customers in answering questions regarding invoicing, discounts, or ordering via phone or email Job Type:

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
