We are currently recruiting for the position of Warehouse Team Leader.
The tasks and responsibilities required of a Warehouse Team Lead are outlined below:
Administers training and certification processes to ensure that all associates are capable of operating material handling equipment (MHE) in a safe and productive manner.
Responsible to prioritize workload assignments and communicate priorities throughout the shift; works closely with the Team Leader and associates to correct errors and resolve day-to-day process problems.
Provides leadership on the shift and fosters positive employee relations through effective communication.
Ensures any maintenance or repair issues for the building facilities, vehicles and equipment area addressed and communicated to the Plant Services Manager.
Actively pursues feedback from associates to identify and resolve process or procedural issues to improve productivity and expedite workflow within the shift.
Examine and monitor Warehouse associates work for exactness, neatness and conformance to quality and productivity standards, common practice and procedures; provides mentoring, coaching, and suggests training in the cultivation and development of associates and team leaders.
Exemplifies safe work behaviors and champions safe work practices with all associates.
Participates in special projects and assignments as required.
Performs other duties as assigned.
The skills and qualifications required for a Warehouse Team Lead are outlined below:
Stand up and deep reach forklift experience required.
1-3 years supervisory/management experience in a materials and logistics environment.
Intimate knowledge of Shipping/Receiving, Warehouse, Inventory and Material Handling operations, methods and practices.
Leadership; previously demonstrated ability to lead people and get results through others.
Strong computer skills related to the use of Microsoft Office products, Warehouse and Inventory Management systems and Productivity Tracking Software.
Strong communication skills (written, oral) along with a high level of interpersonal skills to handle sensitive and confidential situations.
Ability to operate and train associates on all equipment associated within a warehousing environment (forklift, deep reach, walkie, RF scanner).
Weekend Shift:
7:
00 am - 3:
30 pm, Monday - Friday (weekends as needed).
