While painting experience is a plus, it is not required, as we are willing to train the right candidate.
This role involves assisting our skilled painters and performing various general labor tasks to support our daily operations.
Responsibilities:
Assisting Painters:
Collaborate with experienced painters in their tasks, including surface preparation, paint mixing, and equipment setup.
Painting Support:
Help painters during the application of paint to surfaces, ensuring even coverage and attention to detail.
General Labor Tasks:
Perform various general labor duties, such as moving materials, cleaning work areas, and organizing tools and equipment.
Learn Painting Techniques:
Willingness to learn painting techniques, tools, and equipment operation under the guidance of experienced painters.
Safety Compliance:
Follow all safety guidelines and protocols to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and the team.
Equipment Maintenance:
Assist in the cleaning and maintenance of painting equipment to keep them in good working condition.
Quality Control:
Participate in quality control checks to ensure that painted surfaces meet our standards and specifications.
Time Management:
Complete assigned tasks efficiently and meet established deadlines.
Adaptability:
Be adaptable to work on various projects and tasks as needed in a fast-paced environment.
Qualifications:
No specific education requirements; high school diploma or equivalent preferred.
Prior experience in painting or general labor is a plus but not required.
Trainable and eager to learn new skills and techniques.
Physical ability to perform labor-intensive tasks, including lifting and carrying heavy materials.
Willingness to work outdoors and in various weather conditions.
Strong work ethic, punctuality, and reliability.
Ability to work well in a team and take directions from supervisors.
Attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.
Safety-conscious and follows all safety guidelines.
