Responsibilities:
Recruiting & Onboarding:
Communicate with managers about hiring needs Create/update job postings Post about open positions on local FB groups Work with marketing team to post on our socials/send email blasts about hiring Coordinate and conduct phone screens with candidates Ensure that ATS (SmartRecruiters) is kept up to date Order uniforms Add new hires to payroll system (Toast Payroll) Ensure onboarding paperwork is complete Add new hires to scheduling app (7Shifts) Enroll new hires in online training File new hires' Food Handlers certificate and/or enroll in course Verify/upload new hires' I-9 information Payroll:
Run payroll weekly Send info to new hires about benefits, insurance, etc Approve/keep track of PTO, medical leave, and parental leave requests Update pay changes and promotions Misc:
Deactivate terminated employees Ensure that our employee handbook is kept up to date File employee paperwork (performance reviews, incident reports, etc) Coordinate team outings and holiday events Create/send employee surveys and collect data

Qualifications:

years of HR and/or administrative experience Passionate about improving the employee experience Organization, communication and time management skills Experience with Applicant Tracking Systems, interviewing, onboarding, and/or payroll a plus Familiarity with Google Workspace a plus Must be at least 18 years old Dough Re Mi is the ultimate cookie dough company based in Waco, TX.
