Job DescriptionWhat We Are Looking ForThe Department of Chemistry & Biochemistry, College of Arts & Sciences, is seeking a Chemistry Laboratory Coordinator who will support day-to-day introductory and general teaching labs in the Department of Chemistry & Biochemistry.
The successful candidate will have strong organizational and time-management skills, be detail-oriented, and be educated & trained in general Chemistry skills.
The candidate must be a self-starter and work well in a team environment.
The qualified applicant must have a minimum of 3-years experience and a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry; 5-years experience is preferred.
An active Christian faith is required.
Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis.

Strong written and verbal communication skills What You Will Do Supervise teaching assistants.
Set up and maintain on-line learning management system.
Coordinate scheduled laboratory experiments supporting fall and spring semesters, and summer sessions for CHE 1100 (Introductory Chemistry), 1101 (General Chemistry I), 1102 (General Chemistry II), 1146 (Introductory Bio-Organic Chemistry), and 1405 (Chemistry & Society), as required.
Supervise the calculation and preparation of solutions and reagents.
Maintain and inventory chemicals required for labs.
Order chemicals and supplies as required.
Supervise lab safety & cleanliness.
Maintain and supervise use of shared-use equipment and instrumentation.
In cooperation with Environmental Health & Safety, oversee the use and safe disposal of hazardous materials.
Under the direction of Chemistry and Biochemistry faculty, develop and perfect new laboratory exercises.
Assist in developing annual budget requests for equipment and supplies.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
