Summary:
The Maintenance/Facilities Director directs operations of the maintenance and facilities department to ensure alignment with the mission, values and objectives of the organization.
Responsibilities:
Develops departmental goals, plans and standards consistent with clinical, administrative, legal and ethical requirements and objectives of the organization.
Plans, organizes and directs all activities related to staffing, including hiring, orienting, evaluating, disciplinary actions and continuing education initiatives.
Prepares budgets and ensures compliance with allocated funding.
Coordinates and directs internal/external audits.
Maintains knowledge of applicable statutory, regulatory and administrative requirements relative to departmental operations and ensures departmental compliance.
Education &
Experience:
5 years progressively responsible experience in maintenance and facilities with 1 year leadership experience required.
Previous hospital facility operations experience preferred.
Familiarity with electrical, plumbing, high-pressure systems and HVAC systems.
Associate's degree in related field from an accredited program with minimum of 7 years of related experience or Bachelor's degree with minimum of 5 years of related experience required.
NFPA certification preferred.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
